Developing New Publications

Our aim is to support practitioners to access high quality, practical resources and use evidence-based intervention and assessment materials in their work.

Featured Publication - The SCIP Manual

It is rare to find such a comprehensive programme: the intervention plan is directly linked to child assessment with clear benchmarks for progression.

Professor Courtenay Norbury

The SCIP Manual is a unique, evidence-based communication intervention for children aged 6-11 who have social communication difficulties.

Crafted as part of the first randomised controlled trial of effectiveness of speech and language therapy for this population, the SCIP Manual provides an integrated method for developing language structure, social understanding, and pragmatic skills.
